A major rescue operation is underway after a car ended up in Stångån at Kallerstadsleden in Linköping.
It is unclear what caused the accident.
– We are on the scene and the highest priority right now is to save lives, says Mats Petterson, the police’s spokesperson to TV4 Nyheterna.
All four people on board have been taken out of the water, according to the police.
All have been taken to hospital with unclear injuries, according to the emergency services.
“We have divers on the scene who are examining the car that is on the bottom,” the rescue service writes on its website.
At the moment, the police do not suspect any crime in connection with the accident.
