A 25-year-old man has been arrested after trying to run over two police officers in Ösmo in Nynäshamn municipality on Saturday night, the police write on their website.
A police patrol that was supposed to control the man, who had also previously tried to escape the police, used pepper spray to make him stop.
When that didn’t work, one of the officers fired shots at the tire of the man’s car. After a short car chase, the man drove the car into the ditch and was arrested.
He is now suspected of, among other things, aggravated violence against an official, drugged driving, drug offenses and aggravated illegal driving. The car was stolen and has been impounded for a technical examination.
None of the police officers were injured in the incident.
