The Lightfall expansion for Destiny 2 is fast approaching. A new trailer now shows the next location “Neomuna” in more detail.

This is what the new trailer shows: A radiant high-tech metropolis full of lights – this is “Neomuna”, the new location presented in the current trailer for Destiny 2: Lightfall.

But the secret city is in danger: Calus and the Shadow Legion threaten to destroy Neomuna on behalf of the witness.

So the Guardians must face the fight. The new city with all its modern achievements is open to them.

The trailer includes Guardians using the all-new Strang ability to swing through the heights of Neonuma, but Lightfall also features battle tanks and the challenging Tormentors.

Community is excited about the new city of Neomuna

How players react: A number of fans have already gathered under the English version of the trailer on YouTube, eagerly reacting to the revealed futuristic content. Especially in connection with the new “Strand” ability, Neomuna could become an exciting scene.

  • “I love the retro-futuristic vibe this place exudes, unlike anything we’ve seen in Destiny before,” says one user (via YouTube).
  • “This area looks sick. Can’t wait to swing around with Strang” (via YouTube).
  • “I love the look of the place. The architecture of Neomuna and the pyramidal nave of Calus are distinct and both look fantastic. Can not Hardly Wait. The tormentors also look menacing, I’m curious” (via YouTube).
  • “I’m really excited for this DLC, big cities with really high vertical environments with the new abilities looks really fun and a big change from the usual DLCs we’ve been getting” (via YouTube).

    • This is the new ability: “Strong” becomes the second element of Darkness alongside Stasis in Destiny 2. The ability differs from class to class. Titans get String Claws, Hunters can create a lasso out of the Energy Strings, and Warlocks can raise and control Zombies.

    However, Strang is particularly exciting because you can swing through the air with the energy threads in the style of Spider-Man. A new way of moving comes into play that relies on even more mobility – and that could be very entertaining, especially in the new city.
