Big Fred grew up in the Stockholm suburb of Rinkeby and broke through in the Swedish rap wave in the late 1990s, in the same circles as Ken Ring, Ayo and Blues. He is included on the song “Riddarna runt runda bordet” on Petter’s debut album “Mitt jäste sinne” and on several songs by Ken Ring.

Big Fred died after a short illness
Big Fred played one of the main roles in the TV movie “Dream team” and in Tarik Saleh’s animated film “Metropia” he did one of the voices.
In 2009, he changed his path and began studying to become a doctor in Lund. Big Fred died on Sunday after a short illness, the family told TT.

In social media, Big Fred is mourned by friends and colleagues. Ken Ring writes that he is devastated by the news.
“Can’t take it in, the tears just keep flowing. Brother my beautiful friend I love you, swear. You were the best,” he writes.
