Curtain up for the Cannes Film Festival this Tuesday evening, May 17. Eighteen films are competing for the Palme d’Or, which will be awarded in twelve days by a jury chaired by French actor Vincent Lindon. The opening ceremony will take place this evening, followed by the screening of the opening film Cut! by Michael Hazanavicius.
