Elena Miras is someone you should be careful of. Every reality star has known this since she took part in Das Sommerhaus der Stars in 2019. With her temperament and short patience, she stops at nothing and tells everyone her opinion unfiltered to their face. In 2020, she moved to the Australian jungle on I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here! and really shook up the camp with her rebellious nature. She was kicked out of the show in sixth place and blamed one person in particular for it: A drinking bottle.
“How disgusting”: The bottle gate becomes Elena Miras’s downfall
We remember the big scandal about the drinking bottle in the jungle camp 2020. In the main roles: Raúl Richter and Elena Miras. In the jungle camp, each participant receives a certain basic set of trousers, socks, shirts, a hat and a drinking bottle. While the clothes can easily be assigned to the respective celebrity, it can happen with the bottles that you reach for one other than your own. And this is exactly the mix-up that happened to Elena of all people.
One day in the jungle, the former GZSZ star suddenly felt thirsty and grabbed one of the water bottles – not knowing that it wasn’t his own. As it turned out shortly afterwards, the bottle belonged to none other than Elena, who found the situation anything but funny. “How disgusting is that, man? Oh no, how disgusting. I find that totally disgusting”she burst out laughing and began a real drinking strike: unless she got a new bottle, she would not drink anything until she fell over. Although Raúl apologized for his faux pas, Elena did not let up. She repeatedly emphasized how “disgusting” she found the whole thing. But Raúl Richter was not the only one to feel the wrath of the Miras. Fellow contestant Sven Ottke found the whole incident so amusing that he couldn’t help but laugh. This was a godsend for Elena, because she immediately attacked the ex-professional boxer. Just one day after the bottle gate, the viewers voted the young mother out of the camp – for Elena it is clear: the drinking bottle and the ensuing conflict were to blame for her expulsion.

To avoid another argument over a water bottle becoming her undoing, Elena acted before I’m a Celebrity – Showdown of the Jungle Legends a special clause with the production. Her contract stated that if another candidate accidentally uses her bottle, she will get a new one.
It remains to be seen whether Elena Miras can stay in the summer jungle camp for longer with her special contract clause. One thing is certain: there will certainly be plenty of other potential for drama.
