- On the program for episode 3 of Top Chef, half of the candidates (Jérémie, Alexandre, Carla, Sarika, Léo and Victor) will have to reinvent street food. The culinary competition is exceptionally relocating to La Felicita, a huge food market located in Paris. The brigades will oppose first during the qualifying round, before the eliminatory round in which Gaston, without a brigade, will also play his place in the competition.
- A candidate will be eliminated at the end of episode 3 of Top Chef. He will face Danny in Hélène Darroze’s side contest, “La Brigade Cachée”, in the second part of the evening.

In episode 3 of Top Chef, street food is in the spotlight. The candidates will first compete in a brigade at La Felicita, a huge food market located in Paris. The objective: to revolutionize street-food by impressing Guillaume Sanchez, candidate for season 8. During the elimination round, the candidates still in the running will play their place on the theme of the gourmet kebab, judged by the starred Israeli chef Assaf Granit, critics Mina Soundiram and François-Régis Gaudry.

As was the case last week, only half of the candidates compete in episode 3 of Top Chef. This evening, it is Jérémie, Léo, Victor, Alexandre, Carla and Sarika who will try to win their place in the rest of the competition. Gaston will join them on the second eliminatory round, in the hope of re-entering the competition in place of the eliminated candidate.

Since the creation of Top Chef, the show’s jury has evolved from season to season, with some chefs leaving the show to be replaced by new names from the French culinary scene. In 2023, the jurors of the previous season are back. Philippe Etchebest, Hélène Darroze, Paul Pairet and Glenn Viel return. Note, however, that Hélène Darroze has a very special role. There is no red brigade this year, but a secret parallel contest that will save a candidate for the quarter-finals.
Louise Bourrat is the latest winner of Top Chef. Hélène Darroze’s candidate faced Arnaud Delvenne in the final of season 16 on M6 on June 15, 2022. She won the hearts of the jury and Red Cross volunteers with 56.19% of the vote against the Belgian competitor who won 43.81% of the vote. Thanks to her victory, Louise from Top Chef won a check for 56,190 euros, which she intended to invest in her establishment. Indeed, the 26-year-old candidate at the time of her participation is the chef of her own restaurant in Lisbon, Portugal.
