Komunity aims to be an application that offers reliable answers to all the questions of people with cancer by bringing together data from doctors but also from patients.
Although they are the most trusted source of medical information, doctors are not the only ones who can help you live better with your illness. Associations, scientific studies and the experience of other patients above all are additional supports that should not be overlooked when learning about being affected by cancer.
It is precisely this reliability and this expertise that communitya new application “which brings together the community of patients, carers, caregivers and associations that work together to improve the quality of life of patients”.
At the head of this creation, Quitterie Lanta, the rebel and health guide at the Institut Curie, accompanied by Pr Fabien Reyal, head of the breast, gynecological and reconstructive surgery department in a center for the fight against cancer.

Where does the information come from?
The founders of the Komunity application ensure that any information before being shared or included in the database is validated by a committee of experts according to 4 criteria:
- The patient experience
- The level of scientific evidence
- The composition of the products
- Institutional recommendations
“No contractual or commercial link with the manufacturers or service providers affects the referencing on our Service.”, they specify in the press release.

For the moment the Komunity application is only available on Apple Smarphone, so downloadable from the Apple Store, but for those who are on Android or without a smartphone, the application is available on Web browser.
