The fault occurred at Pepparholm, on the Danish side of the bridge.
– It is provisionally fixed and because of that the speed of the trains is reduced. This means that there are delays and canceled trains between Malmö and Copenhagen, says Kristian Ördell, press communicator at Skånetrafiken.
Train traffic will be affected for several days by the track failure. According to the Swedish Transport Administration, the problem must be solved by Wednesday at 07.00.
During the Easter weekend, April 7-9, the bridge is also closed to train traffic. Buses will run, but on a very limited basis.
