On the flight of Qatar Airways from Doha, the capital of Qatar, to Entebbe, Uganda on 5 December, Dr. Aisha Khatib gave birth to a Ugandan woman, who is 35 weeks pregnant and in labor, while on an airplane.
“I never thought I’d have a baby on a plane,” Khatib said in a statement. Thanks to the airline crew who helped create this Miracle in the air! “Mother and baby are well and healthy,” he said.
THE DOCTOR GIVES A GOLD NECKLACE WRITING ‘AISHA’ IN ARABIC
It was stated that the baby girl, named Miraculous Aisha, after the birth, was healthy, along with the doctor’s name.
Dr Khatib gifted baby Aisha a gold necklace with her name written in Arabic on her neck at the time of birth.
In a statement to the press, the airlines stated that women who are up to 36 weeks pregnant are allowed to fly.
