Port Dover Lions Club members and other volunteers have been busy preparing for Saturday’s Canada Day celebration in the lakeside town.
A Kinsmen Soap Box Derby Kinsmen Soap Box Derby will be held on McNab St. east of Main St, starting at 9 am followed by a parade of boats in the harbor at 11 am
A dog contest is planned for 11:15 am at Powell Park, and the traditional parade will kick off at 2 pm
The festivities conclude at Lions Silver Lake Park, located at 320 St. Patrick St., with a concert featuring Pipe Down at 7 pm and fireworks at dusk.
