The 4 Nations Face-Off tournament organized by the NHL will be played next February in Montreal and Boston.
Edmonton Oilers center forward skates in Canada’s star squad Connor McDavidby the Colorado Avalanche Nathan MacKinnonthe all-conquering 36-year-old Sidney Crosbythe Tampa Bay speedster Brayden Point and the cult player of the Boston Bruins Brad Marchand. The defender was appointed Cale Makar.
The first player announcements in the United States are also at the top level of the NHL. The three forwards are recent Stanley Cup winners Matthew Tkachuklast season’s goal king Austin Matthews as well as the key forward of the Vegas Golden Knights Jack Eichel. On the defensive end, they beat the New York Rangers Adam Foxchosen as the best defenseman in the NHL Quinn Hughes and the Boston Bruins Charlie McAvoy.
Finland released its first players earlier on Friday. They play in the ranks of Finland Juuse Saros, Mikko Rantanen, Alexander Barkov, Sebastian Aho, Miro Heiskanen mixed Esa Lindell.
The final lineups will be announced later in the fall.
The hockey tournament organized by the NHL will be played next February in Montreal and Boston. The countries participating in the tournament are the United States, Canada, Finland and Sweden. All teams play against each other in the preliminary round, after which the two best teams play in the final.
