On February 11, 2024 and after coming close to elimination on several occasions, Côte d’Ivoire won the 34th edition of the African Football Cup of Nations. A 2-1 victory against Nigeria and in front of its home crowd, in the Ebimpé stadium in Abidjan. The Ivorians had promised that we would witness the most beautiful CAN in history.
