A new study from the FDA reveals that part of the components of sunscreen could pass into the blood, inviting researchers to question its dangerousness.

The ultraviolet rays B (UVB) are the main causes of solar erythema (sunburn), although they constitute only 2% of the rays ultraviolet reaching the Earth’s surface. They are more energetic than UVA, which constitutes the remaining 98%. Sun creams therefore serve as a protective screen, especially against UVB rays, which are largely responsible for skin cancerbut also for UVA, because long-term exposure is also dangerous.

Sunburn: glasses that are not totally protective

The glasses absorb UVB rays, especially as they are thick and contain certain metal oxides. However, they do not block UVA rays.
