Can there still be good MMORPGs in 2024? MeinMMO visits GameStar Talk

The theme week on the MMORPG genre is underway and MeinMMO was a guest at GameStar Talk to chat about the status quo of online role-playing games. If you want to watch the discussion between Mary, Géraldine and Karsten, you’ve come to the right place!

Who is taking part in the Gamestar Talk and what exactly is it about? In keeping with the current theme week on the MMORPG genre, host Géraldine Hohmann invited Marylin “Mary” Marx (Lead Community Manager for GameStar, GamePro and MeinMMO) and Karsten Scholz (Senior Editor at MeinMMO), two people who have felt right at home in online worlds for many years.

The trio talks about the MMORPG boom triggered by World of Warcraft, the decade of drought that followed, and the last online role-playing games that were able to generate hype. They also look ahead to future projects and discuss the question of whether there can still be really good MMORPGs in 2024.
