The Tesla Supercharger network is one of the best on the market with its wide range of stations, fast charging speed and relatively reasonable pricing.
Initially, only Tesla cars could charge at the Supercharger stations, but since about two years they are also open to other electric cars.

There is only one real Tesla app
Charging at Tesla’s charger takes place through the company’s own app, but you have to keep your mouth shut when downloading it to your phone.
There are also other apps for both iPhone and Android that offer expensive optional services of limited use. It has Peter Esse highlighted in a new Youtube video.
The app to be used is called Tesla in short, and is developed by Tesla Inc.
This is the only app that can be used to start charging at a Tesla Supercharger. Despite this, Peter Esse is relatively often asked which app to use when charging at Tesla.

Keep your tongue in your mouth
When you search for the Tesla app to download it, you also get an app called Supercharger for Tesla from the developer WALABOK LLC.
This app basically just offers a map of all Tesla chargers, and the ability to navigate to them. You cannot start charging with the app.
What the app does offer, however, is the purchase of a premium version. If you buy this, you get rid of ads in the app, get the option to send the route to a charger to the navigation in your Tesla, as well as a day mode for the map view. All functions of limited utility.
For the fun, you can either pay SEK 399 a year, or SEK 1,795 to unlock the premium mode forever.

Can trick users into buying
What Peter Esse sees as dishonest about the app is that those who want to charge their electric car can easily think they have downloaded the right app, and buy the expensive subscription completely unnecessarily.
– It is obviously not possible to start the charging, and then many people think okay, then I have to pay, says Peter in the video, and emphasizes that there is no reason whatsoever to download the app for either Tesla owners or those who drive other electric cars.
When searching for Tesla Supercharger on the mobile phone, several apps of a similar design come up, offering similarly expensive premium versions and subscriptions.
A subscription that, on the other hand, may be worth paying for, depending on how much you fast charge, is Tesla’s own Supercharger membership, which gives a significantly lower price for fast charging.
