CAN 2022: three Algerian players tested positive for coronavirus

Two weeks before its entry into the CAN 2022 contest in Cameroon against Sierra Leone, Algeria formalized Tuesday, December 28 the presence of three players tested positive for the coronavirus. They are the framework Youcef Belaïli and substitute defenders Mohamed Amine Tougaï and Houcine Benyada. They will have to “observe the period of quarantine required by the health protocol before joining the grouping of the selection”, indicates the Algerian Football Federation. The Algerian selection is currently gathered in Doha in Qatar. .
