Several police patrols are on site at Linköping’s university campus Campus Valla. The alarm about the suspected dangerous object came at 09.55.
– At the moment, we are holding cordons so that people do not go here and we are in contact with the National bomb protection, says Olle Älveroth.

Refers to the police
It is an outdoor area that has been cordoned off and the police would like passers-by to respect the cordons and follow the police directives.
– We are in the process of making an assessment of the object and cannot rule out that it is not dangerous, says Olle Älveroth.
Linköping University refers all questions to the police and does not want to comment on the situation at this time.
– We cannot say much more than that it is cordoned off, says Anna-Karin Thorstensson, head of unit at the university’s Research Communication and Press Unit.
The cordoned off area is near a building with lecture rooms and a restaurant.
