Camping in WKZ must still give sick children who cannot

Utrecht – Anyone who walks into the Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital (WKZ) in Utrecht for the next four weeks may think that they have ended up at a campsite. Over the next four weeks, the hospital hall will be converted into a real camping site with artificial grass, tents and entertainment, among other things. The aim is to give children who are unable to travel due to illness that holiday feeling. “That distraction is very nice for children, especially in the summer,” says medical pedagogical care provider Ewout Tuyt.
