Renovations have been going on at the former Camping de Berekuil in the Utrecht Voorveldse Polder for about fifteen years. Despite previous promises from the current owner, the campsite is still a construction site at the start of the camping season. The tourist campsite is not yet in order and the new holiday homes are largely still under construction. Both the municipality and council members are unhappy with the situation.
