Camilla Richardsson and Jukka Keskisalos collaboration ends Sports in

Camilla Richardsson is aiming for a hard time at the Valencia marathon in December.

European champion Jukka Keskisalo does not continue by Camilla Richardsson as a coach. The Finnish Sports Confederation says that the seven-year coaching relationship ends with a joint decision.

– We made the decision together and in agreement. I am very grateful to Juka for everything he has done for me and what we have achieved together. With the help of Juka, I have reached this level, Richardsson said in the press release.

Under Keskisalo, Richardsson moved from a hurdler to long track distances and finally to a marathon. During the collaboration, Richardsson ran, for example, the 10,000-meter Finnish record of 31:12.78, the half-marathon SE in 1:09.54, and the marathon SE in 2:24:38.

Currently, the Finnish record for the half marathon is Alisa Vainio in possession. In September, he booked a time of 1.09.30 in Copenhagen

According to the release, Richardsson is preparing for the Valencia marathon in December with his own methods. His goal is to break the result limit of 2.23.30 at the World Championships in Tokyo. Breaking the time would be a new Finnish record.
