Camilla Läckberg has recently made his podcast debut with “The Boy Who Never Came Home”, which is about eleven-year-olds Johan Asplund who disappeared in Sundsvall in 1980.

She is also in what she calls the “final spurt” of writing part three of the Faye series.

Camilla Läckberg shares prank video

Despite the fact that the best-selling author has a lot to live up to, she frequently updates on her Instagram and not infrequently her readers get a small insight into her everyday life and family life.

And the other day she shared a video that has now received over 550 comments from both amused and uncomfortable followers.

In the video, Läckberg scolds both a make-up artist and his other half Simon Shield during what looks like an interview with her and fellow writer Anna Breitholtz Monsén.

“What about the nose?! I’ll look like Rudolf with the damn cloud with it,” she says, for example, gruffly to the make-up artist when she applies rouge.

But it all has an explanation, and Läckberg explains it in the text of the video:

“A couple of months ago I was asked by my friend @saralindegren to help ‘kidnap’ detective colleague @annabreitholtzmonsen on her 50th birthday. I don’t know Anna and the plan was that she would be interviewed together with me at my home. Also the journalist @lenalindehag was in on the prank. Then everything would go wrong. I would be really rude to everyone around me, @simonskold and I would start fighting, well it would just be a very unpleasant atmosphere. Then her friends would come down from their hiding place upstairs . How did it go? You can see that here.”

Camilla Läckberg reveals her most expensive purchase: “Don’t keep it at home…”

“Ugh how awful to be such a bitch, sick of watching.”

“Oh fyyyy, what a difficult atmosphere! And so incredibly well and believably played by everyone involved.”

“So damn fun! And such a damn unpleasant atmosphere!”
