Last Saturday, the second part of the Melodifestivalen 2024 took place and among the contestants was the famous epa dunk star Miss Snusk who presents the contribution “Unga & fria”.
But even before the program, which was recorded in Gothenburg, could be broadcast, the song was leaked on Tiktok and received hundreds of thousands of views.
“We make the assessment that it is someone who illegally took the clip from SVT Play and published it on Tiktok. We are now looking for Tiktok to see if it is possible to take down the video,” wrote Anders Wistbacka, project manager for Melodifestivalen, in a text message to The Express then.
Miss Snusk’s Mello song leaked on Tiktok – breaks SVT’s rules
One who followed the drama before the second part of Melodifestivalen 2024 was the writer Camilla Läckberg.
“Following this with excitement. When I competed in 2016 as a lyricist for @annatoledanobook’s contribution ‘Himmel för two’, the contribution was washed because the song was out on the net. The rules for mello and @svt were clear. This means immediate washing. Will be exciting to see if the rules are the same for everyone,” she wrote in a post on Instagram at the time.
And Anna Toledano Book was not slow to comment on the post:
“Yes you @lackberg it was indeed clear in 2016. We will see how clearly the rule is followed in 2024.”

Miss Snusk reveals – that’s how often she washes the mask
Discussions in Camilla Läckberg’s comment field
But there was no washing up for Miss Snusk, and in the comment section it is widely discussed why Anna Toledano Book’s contribution was washed up, but not that of the epa dunk star.
“Wasn’t it the case that the song competed in another country in your case? Or am I remembering wrong now?”, writes one person, to which Camilla Läckberg replies:
“It was submitted to Moldova a couple of years before (with different lyrics than mine). And Moldova posted the songs that were closest to making it (but didn’t make it) online. And according to Mello’s rules, a song can’t be published before the competition .”

Another person comments like this:
“As SVT themselves write, the clip that is on Tiktok is a clip made by SVT themselves that has been copied, therefore no one is washed. Anna Book’s song had been leaked by someone else, the clip of her did not come from SVT. Check the facts!”
“So if SVT itself leaks, it’s ok? Isn’t that strange logic?”, Läckberg replies, who then gets another answer from the same person:
“It’s not SVT that leaked, but the clip on Tiktok originally comes from SVT themselves, that’s what makes the difference. If someone had privately filmed and posted it somewhere, the song would have been washed away. Says SVT. How it turned out in reality ‘ can be discussed. Not saying it’s right, just how SVT reasons.”
