It is this Saturday, October 28, that the ordinary congress of the Social Democratic Front (SDF), the historic Cameroonian opposition party, founded in 1990 by its leader John Fru Ndi, died on June 12, 2023, closes in Yaoundé. The SDF, weakened in recent years by poor electoral results and internal battles, must turn the page on its founding president. It is a question of relaunching a party which was previously the main political formation of the Cameroonian opposition.
