Elections Cameroon (Elecam), the body in charge of electoral processes in Cameroon, closed the voter registration operations on Saturday, August 31. A process conducted under tension since the beginning of 2024, with in particular criticism from opposition parties who regularly denounced what appeared to them to be maneuvers aimed at truncating these registrations.
