Camaraderie Generosity Highlight Sarnia Rotary Clubs Fundraising Book Sale

Through the First Two Weeks of A Sarnia Service Club’s Fundraising Book Sale, One Thing that stood out for flesherson Dale Wilcox was the camaraderie amongst the customers.

The Rotary Club of Sarnia-BlueWater’s Fundraising Used Book Sale, Held at Degroot’s Nurseries on London Line, Opened Jan. 17-18, Continued Jan. 24-25, and wrapped up Friday and Saturday. A Wide Range of Books WEE AVAIVABLE ON EACH OF THOSE DAYS FROM 10 AM TO 4 PM

The Tables of Books girls up Well in Advance of the Annual Fundraiser. Volunteers Were Accepting and Sorting Thousands of Donations On A Daily Basis Leading Up to the Opening Day of the Sale.

“This Year We’ve Had More Volunteers Than Ever,” Wilcox Said.

The goal was to raise $ 25,000 to help the service club fund community projects and local charities, which recently have included Bluewater Health, Forest Fritter Friends, Local Food Banks and Many Others, Wilcox Said Earlier This Month.

On Saturday, She Said they Didn’t Have A Final Tally Available Yet Due In Part To Factoring in Expensures, but it was look promising.

“Each Weekend we have surpass the previous Year’s Sales,” She Said. “The Community has been so generous.”
