Now Halfvarsson gives a definite message. And it will be a continued investment towards the Ski World Cup 2025 in Trondheim next season.
– It will be at least another year. Then there will be an Olympics in 2026 and then the WC in Falun in 2027. It is a dream to be able to end my career on home ground in Falun in three years, he tells the Falu-Kuriren.
Halfvarsson’s words
Halfvarsson was twelfth in the overall World Cup standings but was forced to end the season early at the beginning of March due to injury problems.
– I feel that there is more to give. I feel very motivated, not exhausted or old at all. Then there is an exciting season ahead with the WC in Trondheim. That’s where I did my best results last winter with a fourth and a fifth place and I like the tracks. It would be fun to come there and snap the Norwegians on the nose, says Calle to the local newspaper.

Preparations for another ski season begin in May.
– There won’t be any huge changes. It will be a little longer, tougher sessions in the morning, then rest in the afternoon. The system works well and I had test values at the top level last autumn. Then it’s a bit about how I will train and compete during the season. Especially now that it’s a championship season, so it’s important to pull the handbrake a little so there aren’t too many competitions, says Halfvarsson in the interview.
