Call of Duty new remasters on the way

It has been leaked that new remasters are on the way for Modern Warfare from the Call of Duty series, one of Activision’s best-selling games.

This leak from within the company states that more Call of Duty remasters are on the way. Activision has made updates for the series over the years, but it’s only remastered two Call of Duty games. Both remasters come from the Modern Warfare trilogy, although the publisher has stated that it isn’t even working on a remaster for Modern Warfare 3. If it happens, all the games of the trilogy will appear once again in their renewed form.

According to company employee RalphsValve, Activision is also planning more Call of Duty remasters for next year. Call of Duty states that Call of Duty 2 and Call of Duty: World at War are games considered by Activision. In addition, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered is also being considered for Nintendo Switch.

All these potential refreshes will be used to bridge the gap between new Call of Duty releases. It has been reported that there will not be a new Call of Duty game to be released next year after Microsoft bought the company, but Activision has not officially confirmed this yet.

The firm is expected to release Call of Duty: Warzone 2 next year, although it hasn’t given a clear date yet. The sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be released this year.
