Modern Warfare 3 adds The Walking Dead characters

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has only been out for two and a half months and has already brought in some high-profile characters from the world of film and TV. As part of the lead-up to Denis Villeneuve’s highly anticipated sci-fi sequel Dune: Part Two, Call of Duty has added series protagonist Paul Atreides, as well as antagonist Feyd-Rautha, to Modern Warfare 3 as purchasable operators. Finally, Season 1 of Call of Duty returns with the debut of Amazon’s The Boys in Reloaded and Firecracker and A-Train in Modern Warfare 3.

As Season 1 of Modern Warfare 3 draws to a close, Call of Duty has announced its next big crossover, this time with the popular zombie apocalypse TV show The Walking Dead. Call of Duty has released a YouTube video that recreates The Walking Dead’s classic show opener, complete with a dirty sepia filter and iconic music similar to MWZ’s Urzikstan map. The trailer featured photo appearances from The Walking Dead’s two most integral characters, Rick and Michonne, as well as an appearance from Modern Warfare 3’s own Vladimir Makarov.
