It’s an unexpected and yet Activision did it. During a small thread on Twitter, Activision simply confirmed the rumors that were circulating around the Call of Duty of the year 2022, namely that it will indeed be Modern Warfare 2. The real name of the game does not is careful not mentioned in this way, but the American publisher claims that it is indeed the sequel to Modern Warfare of 2019. The studio in charge of the development is indeed Infinity Ward and the latter is also taking care of the new direction that will take Warzone in the future. Since Modern Warfare 2022 and Warzone are developed together, we will have to expect big changes, with a new 3D engine and above all a brand new map. We obviously expect the month of April, which is generally the most favorable period to unveil with great fanfare the new annual Call of. We will of course be there to relay everything.
