A call is open for artists and submissions to the 3RD Annual Grand River Arts Festival.

The Festival, A Showcase of Local Visual Art, Theater and Music, will be Held Sept. 19 and 20 at Glenhyst Art Gallery, Providing a Platform for Both Emerging and Establised Artists to Share Their Work, Engage with the Community, and Foster Artistic Excellence .
Visual Artists Can Apply to Exhibit and Sell Their Work. Successful candidates will be chosen by a selection committee.
The Deadline for Submissions is April 1. Early applications are encouraged as space is limited.

The Festival Includes Live Theater, Music, An Arts Market Where Wait Can Browse and Purchase Original Work, and Interactive Experiences.
The 10-minute play Competition is Making Its Return on Saturday, seven. 20 at the Glenhyerst Coach House Stage.

Playwrights, theater groups, and performers are invited to submit internship-feedy productions of 10 minutes or less for a chance to present their work in front of a live audience and a panel of adjudicators. There are cash prizes of $ 1,000 for gold, $ 500 for silver, and $ 250 for bronze.

The Friday Night Theater feature is also making a comeback on friday, seven. 19. This special event will buck Last year’s competition Winner for an exclusive performance, Providing Audiences with an extended theatrical experience.
