Iranian Foreign Minister Erakchi met with International Atomic Energy Director (IAEA) President Rafael Mariano Grossi in Tehran.
“WE HAVE AGREED”
Posting on his X social media account after the closed-door meeting, Erakçi stated that they had “important and sincere” meetings with Grossi.
Emphasizing that Iran continues to cooperate with the IAEA as a member of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), Erakçi said, “Disputes can be resolved through cooperation and dialogue. We agreed to continue on the path with a strong will and good faith.” he said.
“WE ARE READY TO NEGOTIATE”
Regarding the negotiations with the West regarding his country’s nuclear program, Erakçi said, “Iran has never left the negotiation table regarding its peaceful nuclear program. Now it is the turn of the (EU) E3 (England, France and Germany). We are not under pressure, our national interests and undeniable rights.” “We are ready to negotiate on the basis of made his assessment.
On the other hand, in his statement to the press after the meeting, Grossi stated that he will visit Iran’s nuclear facilities in Fordo and Natanz tomorrow.
