Call from Amnesty International to Israel They shared blood chilling data

Amnesty International has called on the Israeli authorities to end the apartheid regime (systemic discrimination) that has caused bloodshed and suffering in the Palestinian territories.

In a written statement made by Amnesty International, it was stated that since the organization launched a campaign against the apartheid regime, 220 Palestinians have been killed, 35 of them in January 2023.

Pointing out that the Israeli authorities should put an end to the apartheid regime, which causes bloodshed and suffering in the Palestinian territories, it was pointed out that the murders, which can be considered as crimes against humanity, also help this regime to be permanent.

Reminding the attack by Israeli forces in Jenin city of the occupied West Bank, in which 9 people were killed, and the action in which 7 Israelis lost their lives in Jerusalem, it was emphasized that detention operations and house demolitions were applied as a means of collective punishment.

Agnes Callamard, Secretary General of Amnesty International, said in the statement, “The painful events of the past week have once again revealed the deadly cost of the apartheid regime.” It was recorded that he used his expressions.

It was stated that Callamard, who accused the international community of being indifferent to Israel’s apartheid regime and other crimes, pointed out that the Israeli authorities, who were encouraged by this, also isolated the Palestinians.

Describing Israel’s apartheid regime as a crime against humanity, he said, “The terrible thing is to see murderers flee from justice.” Callamard emphasized that it will not be possible to protect civilians and provide justice for grieving families before this regime ends.
