Emergency hospital
The emergency hospital is a hospital that is opened in the event of major accidents or calamities. It is a so-called ‘sleeping hospital’ and can be fully operational within 30 minutes.
All emergency services participate in the annual training, including care providers, police, fire brigade and defense. The emergency hospital mainly employs staff from the UMC. Medical personnel from other hospitals are present for the training. This can also occur in the event of a real calamity.
