13. David Gil. The goalkeeper hardly had any work in either half. In the goals, he could do little more, since they were mistakes more the responsibility of the defense than of the goalkeeper himself.
36. Raul Parra. The youth squad had to start as a starter, once again, since Iza Carcelén was resting so as not to accumulate so many minutes in her legs and Akapo continues with the Equatorial Guinea team. Parra complied, although he made some inaccuracies in defense as in the second goal for Valencia, by Hugo Duro. He had a complicated ballot defending Bryan Gil.
16. Juan Cala. He was sent off for a double warning when the game was already 2-1 on the scoreboard. The defender missed Valencia’s first goal, when he called for a foul, but the referee did not consider it appropriate. He suffered a foul from Cömert that ended in the penalty that Lucas Pérez converted.
23. Luis Hernandez. Penultimate signing of Cádiz in the winter market. Sergio made him debut as a starter in the cup match and left a good image.
22. Pacha Thorn. He was more focused on defense than going up the wing in this case due to the demands of the match. He always leaves a good image and fights like the best. He could not rest because Santiago Arzamendia is summoned with his selection.
14. Ivan Alejo. He only played the first part, when Cádiz was further behind. He played a good game and continues to push for a place in the team. He had a long shot that went wide.
2. Jens Johnson. As always, discreet, but necessary in the Cádiz game. Fortunately, the exchange proposed by Valencia with Manu Vallejo in between did not come to fruition. The yellows need it in the midfield.
4. Ruben Alcaraz. He had already made his debut, but Sergio gave him the opportunity in this game to be a starter and continue to grow at Cádiz. He played a good game and it seems that he will keep the starting job if he continues at that level.
11. Idrissi. He played in a band and did not have his best game. He was not successful in some of his decisions and, furthermore, the first part of the yellows has not been conducive to attack.
23. Ruben Nephew. He tried a long shot that, if it went into the goal, would have been named the best goal of the 2022 Copa del Rey, but it went wide. The striker still does not see the door, but it seems that he is improving in his interventions.
17. Andone. The striker hardly had a leading role and put the bad news after 22 minutes of play, when he had to leave the field of play due to muscle discomfort.
From the bench.
25. Lucas Perez. He came on to replace an injured Andone. He had a great debut scoring the first goal with the Cádiz shirt from the penalty spot.
7. Salvi Sanchez. The man from Sanlúcar came out highly motivated in the second half and left several crosses, including a corner kick and a penalty.
8. Alex Fernandez. He played a few minutes and complied, but he did not have his best interventions.
18. Alvaro Negredo. He entered at a time when the field was turned in favor of Valencia and he had no chance to create danger.
20. Iza Carcelen. Without evaluation for a short time on the pitch.
