A cable in the Baltic Sea has been damaged, reports Latvian LSM. It belongs to the Latvian radio and broadcaster LVRTC.
Disorders have been discovered in Sweden’s economic zone, says Latvian Navy.
– At present, there is reason to believe that the cable is significantly damaged and that the injury has been caused by external impact, says Vineta Spruite from LVRTC.
The injury is said to have occurred early on Sunday morning.
The Ministry of Defense has taken part in the information and is collecting information, says a press secretary.
