One of the giant automobile manufacturers based in China BYD, Türkiye postponed the November 4 meeting where it would announce its plans.
BYD Türkiye would hold a press conference on November 4 and provide important information about its intriguing future plans. However, according to new information, this meeting was surprisingly postponed. Sharing an article about this development Bahadir Bektas stated the following:: “Why was the highly anticipated BYD meeting postponed? In this meeting, which was previously planned to be held on November 4, it was expected that the future strategies of the Chinese brand would be shared and the prices of 4 different BYD models that would be offered for sale were announced. This important meeting, which is currently the talk of the entire industry, has been postponed to November 15. Although it is reported that this postponement is due to a “technical reason”, it is estimated that the main reason for this postponement is that the Investment Incentive Certificate, which is expected to be published in the Official Gazette with the signature of the President, has not yet been published. Now the entire sector is locked into the new meeting date on November 15. It is known that many people who are considering buying a car are waiting for this meeting and the possible BYD prices to be announced at this meeting to make a decision. If BYD prices are at the expected levels, it means that rival brands will have busy days to work on competitive prices. In short, the BYD meeting seems to affect the entire sector.”
