The CSP rebels challenge the international community on the “ seriousness of the situation. » The spokesperson for the CSP-PSD, Mohamed Elmaouloud Ramadane, believes that by choosing war, the military in power have put an end to any possibility of negotiation.

There is worry, dismay, but we expected all that. That didn’t surprise us. We can only take note of their decision to withdraw from this agreement. With very serious consequences for Mali and the entire sub-region, because it was a chance for Mali to reconcile. There were also several principles which were in this agreement – for example territorial integrity, the sovereignty of the country – which are today called into question by this position of the junta. »

The CSP sees it as a “ Back to square one » and therefore with only one perspective from now on: war. “ We do not see the possibility of any dialogue or peaceful solution with this junta. They chose war, impossible to find a solution with them, especially with the presence of Wagner mercenaries on the ground. This junta chose this option, they imposed it on us and we have no other choice but to wage this war to the end against this junta. »
