(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Buzzi, through the wholly owned subsidiary Dyckerhoff GmbHhas reached an agreement to divest some of its Eastern European business to CRH, a leading company in the building materials sector, for a consideration of 0.1 billion euros.
The operation – explains a note – refers to the activities in Ukraine and to the ready-mix concrete branch in eastern Slovakia.
Completion of the transaction in Ukraine is subject to the granting of required regulatory approvals and is expected to occur in 2024.
In Ukraine, Buzzi has two full-cycle cement plants, located respectively near Rivne (north-west) and Nikolajev (south). The production units are flanked by two terminals for the distribution of cement. The group is also active in the concrete sector
prepackaged in Kiev, Odessa and Nikolajev.
In Slovakia east the company operates with six ready-mix concrete plants.
