Updated December 27 at 07:40: Good morning everyone. We hope you all had a nice and relaxing Christmas weekend. Sony has decided that ordering a PS5 shouldn’t cause any further stress for buyers and sellers. That’s why a big pre-order campaign was started at the beginning of December: everyone who ordered before Christmas will receive their console by the end of January. But it just keeps going. Anyone who is only now placing their order with selected retailers will have the PS5 sent home by the end of February at the latest. If you order earlier, you will be delivered earlier.
As a result, there will very likely be very few to no PS5 drops like we’ve seen over the last two years. For this reason, our PS5 ticker will be paused for the time being. Below we have listed all currently known retailers where you can place a pre-order.
The dealers’ available contingents are regularly replenished and the various bundles are always available. If the bundle you want isn’t available from the retailer of your choice, it’s worth checking back the next morning. Dealers who also operate local branches also take part in the order campaign there. So it’s best to ask there as well.
We will of course continue to monitor the PS5 availability situation in the new year and will resume the ticker if there is a need to do so.
