The party company Buttericks is in crisis and is applying for corporate restructuring at the Stockholm district court. The company, which has been in existence for over 120 years, has, according to a press release, been unable to recover financially after the pandemic greatly reduced turnover.
“During the autumn, tax deferrals that were built up during the pandemic have expired, which has resulted in large tax payments that have drained the coffers. Despite comprehensive measures, the liquidity situation has now become acute, which forces the company’s management to apply for corporate restructuring,” writes Buttericks in a press release.
