What are these boots? Wearing the Boots of Very Fast Blinking allows one to use the Mist Step spell as a bonus action. This allows you to teleport almost anywhere in your field of vision (9m), for example as a ranged fighter to gain more distance from opponents if they get too close to you. It is a very powerful spell.
Players found on Reddit that the character is left stark naked after casting Mist Step, which came as quite a surprise. However, if you look closely, the description of the mysterious boots reveals this effect: “You can cast the Mist Step spell, but when you teleport, you leave all your clothes behind.”
