The 1st season of Bridgerton became one of the biggest series hits on Netflix in 2020 and is keeping up 113 million views Ranked 4th among the streaming service’s most-watched English-language series. It’s been a full two years since fans were last treated to new episodes of the romantic historical adventure, which drew only slightly fewer viewers to the screens.
From now on it’s finally possible brand new stories from the court of London high society in the 19th century – and a romance that fans have been waiting for since the beginning of the series. But there is a catch.
Bridgerton Season 3: The hit series is initially only returning to Netflix with 4 episodes
The third season of Bridgerton appears on Netflix in two pieces. From now on we can expect you only 4 episodes the new season. And that’s especially mean since they end with a real cliffhanger. But we shouldn’t reveal too much at this point. The resolution will come in just under a month. Part 2 of Bridgerton Season 3 will be released with the remaining 4 episodes on June 13, 2024 on Netflix.
After Bridgerton started in the first season with the love story between Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) and Simon Basset (Regé-Jean Page), the second season was about the romance between Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate Sharma ( Simone Ashley). The 3rd season is now dedicated Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).

The two have had a deep friendship since childhood, but this was always accompanied by Penelope’s unrequited crush on Colin. In the big finale of Season 2, it looked like any hope of a happy ending for the two of them was fading when Penelope heard her best friend talking badly about her behind her back.
In season 3, Penelope tries to move on to other men. In her third year on the marriage market, her chances seem dwindling. That’s why she accepts the support of Colin, who has returned from his summer trips and is considered the most sought-after gentleman of the season. But does Colin actually want to see Penelope with another man? Or combines the two more than friendship?
New focus in Bridgerton season 3: These characters are the focus alongside Colin and Penelope
In addition to Penelope and Colin, season 3 focuses on Francesca Bridgerton, which is generating attention in its first season at the court of London’s high society. Newly cast by Hannah Dodd (previously Ruby Stokes), the music-loving Francesca has to find the right man for her from among several suitors.

Also apparently a perpetual bachelor Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) increasingly attends lavish parties in the new episodes and makes the acquaintance of the charming widow Lady Tilley Arnold (Hannah New). The newly married couple tries to do this Will Mondrich (Martins Imhangbe) and Alice Mondrich (Emma Naomi)to maintain their beloved pub and at the same time survive against the expectations at court.
Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie) has found a new friend in Cressida Cowper (Jessica Madsen) after her feud with Penelope. And Penelope is courting the same man, Lord Debling (Sam Phillips). Chaos seems to be inevitable here too.
