In Greece, it was reported that one of the 2 planes did not take off on the grounds of “suspicious passenger”, and the other was returned to the airport from which it took off.

According to reports in the national press, the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) warned that there were “suspicious passengers” on two Emirates Airlines planes at Athens airports.

Authorities, upon warning, stopped the plane that was preparing to take off at Eleftherios Venizelos Airport, and returned the other plane that had taken off.

It was learned that the plane, which was not allowed to take off, flew to Dubai, and the plane that was returned to the airport flew to New York. (AA)
