(Finance) – “There is great satisfaction on the part of Federalimentare for the commitment guaranteed by the Government to companies during the Control Room on Internationalization promoted by the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy”. The President of Federalimentare declared itPaolo Mascarino at the end of today’s meeting.
“The agri-food sector – explained Mascarino – it has been included among the priority sectors in which to invest as part of the support to Italian exports. We therefore thank the ministers Adolfo Urso and Antonio Tajani for having sent us, once again, a message of great commitment and attention, recognizing the central role of the processing industry in Italy, certified by exports worth 40% of GDP”.
“As a Federation – continued the President – we share the strategic and operational guidelines summarized in the Control Room document which also incorporated our suggestions, and We are confident that Italy will also be able to support the centrality of the food industry in all institutional settings in Europe. Federalimentare is collaborating with institutions to make companies in the sector increasingly competitive, so as to bring our food excellences to international markets at the right prices. Also thanks to the concrete support of the Government – concluded Mascarino – the exports of the food industry will continue to contribute to the development agenda of our country”.
