Busch critical of Skyttedal’s drug operation: “Problematic”

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

KD politician Sara Skyttedal wants Sweden to change its drug policy. Now she receives sharp criticism from party leader Ebba Busch. – It is problematic, she tells TV4 Nyheterna. The Christian Democrats’ Sara Skyttedal wants to legalize cannabis and decriminalize the use of drugs for personal use. When she participated in SVT’s program 30 minutes last month, she also told us that she herself had used cannabis during the time she was a Member of the European Parliament. On Tuesday, Ebba Busch gave her view on Skyttedal’s drug-liberal statements. The Minister of Energy and Industry says that the Christian Democrats should focus on other issues, such as gang violence, care queues and the electricity system. – Then putting a lot of focus on a completely different topic where we don’t have the big problems, definitely not with Swedes using too many drugs, that’s problematic, she says to TV4 Nyheterna. “Extra neighborly task” She emphasizes that she has no problem with party members expressing opinions that the party should change its opinion on issues. – But if you are a heavy representative of our party, it becomes an extra difficult task if you believe that the party should change its opinion on an issue, she says. Ebba Busch also commented on the news that Johan Ingerö is leaving his post as party secretary after being reported to the police for sexual harassment by Sara Skyttedal. At the end of last week, the police announced that they will not start a preliminary investigation because the reported offense is time-barred. The party leader says that she already decided in January that KD needed a new party secretary. – When it later became clear that there was a police report, it obviously affected the timing, she says. Johan Ingerö has previously said that he is innocent of what is alleged.
