Two carriers operate in the region: Qbuzz, which manages U-OV, and Keolis, the boss of Syntus-Utrecht. Both carriers indicate that due to staff shortages they cannot operate as announced in their Transport Plans 2024. U-OV will operate 16 percent fewer journeys and Syntus will make a “very minor” reduction.
