Twelve passengers were on the bus when the collision occurred, one of whom was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Previously, the road was closed in both directions pending towing. Shortly after 07:00, the road is open again.
The bus has been driven to a nearby parking lot where the passengers are now waiting for replacement traffic.
According to information from SOS Alarm, the moose did not survive the collision.
