Several people were injured when a bus and a car collided at an intersection in central Stockholm in the middle of rush hour traffic. A total of 13 people have been taken by ambulance to hospital, according to the police.
– I have no idea about the state of the damage, says police spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl.
The alarm about the accident – which occurred at the Odengatan-Birger Jarlsgatan intersection – came at 4.19pm on Wednesday.
The police will investigate the accident as causing bodily harm and negligence in traffic. The car has been impounded for a technical examination.
It is unclear if there are any suspects.
– I have too little information, if there is anyone who can be considered the culprit, says Wikdahl.
