The motorhome will burn between Björnåberg and Mysingsborg on road 310 and according to the Swedish Transport Administration, it will have a very large impact on traffic. The road must be closed during the extinguishing work. A preliminary end time of 20.30 has been postponed by the Swedish Transport Administration.
According to the rescue service, another road user must have seen sparks strike under the vehicle.
– Then it must have started to smoke and burn more and more. When we arrived at the scene, we saw that it was overheated, says Emil Berggren, emergency officer at the rescue service.
The extinguishing work is currently underway.
– The extinguishing work has gone quite well, it has calmed down, says Emil Berggren.
There is currently no information on any injuries and no ambulance has been called.
